MIRA is actively helping to prepare the next generation of international trade professionals. In addition to supporting the International Business Programs at George Brown College and Centennial College and his guest lecturing at other institutions, Marvin Hough supports young professionals through an active mentoring and program.
He is currently mentoring young professionals through organizations including the Canadian International Council (CIC), Organization for Women in International Trade ( OWIT) and the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization. (OCISO)
Marvin is in an excellent position to advise on skill development and market demands and has an extensive network from which to refer mentees. Where possible, MIRA also engages mentees on short-term research assignments as they pursue studies and initiatives to build their long-term careers.
